Team Oceania Qualifiers 2026

We are selecting the team to represent Oceania at the 5th International Cybersecurity Challenge on the Gold Coast in May https://icc2026.au

The 2026 qualifier wil start on the 24th of January at 11am NZDT.

The CTF will begin in:

Eligibility Criteria

Must be born on or after the 1st of January 2000.
Must be ≥18 years of age on the date of the international competition (18th May 2026)
Must be a citizen or resident (permanent resisdent OR international student doing a ≥3-year degree) of Australia, New Zealand, or a Pacific Island country.

We’ll automatically qualify the two fastest full clears in each category (Rev, Web, Crypto, Pwn, Misc).
- (If this would apply to a single person in multiple categories, we only count the category they were faster in, so the 3rd-fastest finisher would be selected from the other category)
The rest of the team of 17 will be filled out from the overall points-based leaderboard.
Points will use dynamic scoring and only accounts in the eligible bracket will affect the scoring.
We reserve the right to make changes to qualification to promote regional and/or gender equality if there are severe issues in representation.

How long will the CTF be? It will run for 9 hours.
